Infants

At Nurturing Brains, our Infants Program is meticulously designed to create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for your baby’s early development. Recognizing that the first year of life is a pivotal period for brain development, our program aims to support and enhance this critical phase through personalized care and interactive experiences.

We understand that each infant is unique and requires individual attention to thrive. Our caregivers are dedicated to providing personalized care that caters to your baby’s specific needs. This includes creating tailored feeding schedules, ensuring timely diaper changes, and establishing a comforting nap routine that aligns with your baby’s natural rhythm. Our goal is to create a homelike atmosphere where your baby feels secure, loved, and understood.

Our infant rooms are thoughtfully arranged to be both safe and inviting. They are equipped with soft, tactile toys, age-appropriate books, and sensory play materials that stimulate your baby’s senses and promote cognitive development. We prioritize safety with rigorous cleaning protocols and child-proofing measures to ensure a hazard-free space where your baby can explore freely.

Personalized Care for Infants

Our programs at Nurturing Brains incorporate a variety of independent, teacher-directed, and small-group activities that encourage investigation, exploration, and discovery. We utilize learning approaches tailored to each child’s unique strengths and interests, ensuring personalized and engaging educational experiences. Our comprehensive curriculum supports creative expression, literacy, music, and more, fostering well-rounded development.

We provide confidence-building opportunities that empower children to solve problems and make decisions, while our focus on STEM learning encourages the acquisition of future-forward skills. Additionally, we adhere to rigorous safety, security, and cleanliness practices that meet or exceed all state, local, and national guidelines, ensuring a secure and healthy environment for every child.

Infants Curriculum

Infants are nurtured through a variety of sensory, language, and movement experiences. There is time for independent exploration, group play, and one-on-one interaction with educators. A positive experience with infant care is supported through frequent dialogue, a childcare app, and daily written records of each infant’s activities (e.g. sleep, food intake, and diaper routine), fostering effective communication between families and teachers.

We’ve designed our program to give you complete confidence in every aspect of your child’s experience; from health and safety; to a ready-for-school curriculum.

Nurturing Development Through Sensory Play

In our Infants Program at Nurturing Brains, we emphasize sensory play as a cornerstone of early childhood development. Recognizing the critical role that sensory experiences play in the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development of infants, our curriculum is designed to engage the youngest learners through a variety of hands-on activities.

From tactile play with different textures to engaging with soothing sounds and vibrant colors, our activities are carefully planned to stimulate curiosity and enhance sensory awareness. These experiences not only support brain development but also promote motor skills, help in problem-solving, and foster an early love for learning. By integrating sensory play into daily routines, we provide a nurturing environment that supports the holistic growth of each infant, paving the way for a lifetime of exploration and discovery.
